God’s Salvation
God’s Salvation Through His Only Begotten Son📖 Bible Study
🌍 1. The Condition of Humanity — Why We Need Salvation
Before we understand salvation, we must understand our need for it.
📖 Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Sin is not just doing wrong things — it is separation from God. From the beginning, humanity chose disobedience, and that choice brought spiritual death.
📖 Romans 6:23a
“For the wages of sin is death…”
Sin has consequences. It separates us from the holy God. No amount of good works, religious activities, or moral effort can erase sin.
📖 Isaiah 59:2
“Your iniquities have separated you from your God…”
We were spiritually lost, helpless, and unable to save ourselves.
❤️ 2. The Love of God — The Source of Salvation | ❤️ God’s Love Initiated Salvation
Salvation begins not with man reaching God, but with God reaching man.
📖 John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”
Notice:
-
It says God so loved — the initiative was His.
-
It says the world — not a select few, but all humanity.
-
It says He gave — salvation cost Him something.
God’s love is sacrificial, unconditional, and intentional.
📖 1 John 4:9–10
“In this the love of God was manifested toward us… that we might live through Him.”
Salvation is not God reluctantly forgiving us. It is God passionately pursuing us.
✝️ 3. The Person of Salvation — Jesus Christ
Salvation is not a system.
It is not a religion.
It is a Person — Jesus Christ.
He is called the “only begotten Son,” meaning unique — the one and only Son of God.
📖 John 14:6
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Jesus lived a sinless life.
He died a substitutionary death.
He rose again in victory.
📖 2 Corinthians 5:21
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us…”
On the cross, Jesus took our punishment so we could receive His righteousness. This is the Great Exchange.
🕊 4. The Gift of Salvation — By Grace Through Faith
Salvation is a gift — not a reward.
📖 Ephesians 2:8–9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith… not of works.”
Grace means unearned favor.
Faith means trusting fully in what Christ has done.
You cannot earn salvation.
You can only receive it.
📖 Titus 3:5
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.”
Religion says: “Do.”
The Gospel says: “Done.”
🌱 5. The Result of Salvation — New Life & Eternal Hope
Salvation does not only change your eternity — it changes your identity.
📖 2 Corinthians 5:17
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”
When you are saved:
• You are forgiven.
• You are adopted into God’s family.
• You receive the Holy Spirit.
• You have eternal life.
📖 John 1:12
“To as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God.”
Eternal life is not just living forever — it is knowing God personally.
📖 John 17:3
“This is eternal life, that they may know You…”
🙏 A Personal Call to Salvation
The message of salvation is not only information — it is invitation.
📖 2 Corinthians 6:2
“Now is the day of salvation.”
You may attend church.
You may know Bible verses.
But have you personally received Jesus as Lord and Savior?
📖 Romans 10:9–10
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart… you will be saved.”
Salvation requires:
-
Repentance — turning from sin.
-
Faith — trusting in Christ alone.
-
Surrender — making Him Lord.
✨ Prayer of Salvation
“Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. I cannot save myself. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again. Today I repent and surrender my life to You. Be my Lord and Savior. Wash me, change me, and lead me. Thank You for Your grace and salvation. Amen.”
🌟 Encouragement
God’s salvation is:
• Complete — nothing can be added to it.
• Secure — nothing can take it away.
• Available — to everyone who believes.
📖 Acts 4:12
“Nor is there salvation in any other…”
If you have received Him, walk in your new identity.
If you have not yet received Him, today is your moment.
God’s love is calling. 🤍
Come as you are. God’s grace is enough. 🤍
