The Bible teaches that  God is not confined to any image or object  made by human hands. Instead, He desires a relationship with us that is based on truth, faith, and spirit—not lifeless figures. 📖  What the Bible Says About Idols 1.  God is Spirit “ God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. ” –  John 4:24 This verse highlights a foundational truth:  God is not physical .
