Did John the Baptist Doubt Jesus?📖  Scripture Focus: Matthew 11:2–6 (NIV) “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” — Matthew 11:3 🔍 Observation John the Baptist was the bold forerunner of Jesus — the voice crying out in the wilderness (Isaiah 40:3), the one who baptized Jesus and publicly declared, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” (John 1:29). He had seen the Spirit descend on Jesus and heard the voice from heaven at His baptism. But now, we find John in prison (Matthew 11:2), facing possible execution, isolated and under pressure.
