Reconciliation Meeting Guide for the Music Ministry
Purpose of the Meeting
To restore:
Relationships
Trust
Unity
Spiritual health
This meeting is not for blame, but for healing.

Music ministry leaders
Pastor or designated church leader
A neutral facilitator (if needed)
Meeting Flow
1. Opening Prayer
Invite the Holy Spirit to guide the conversation in truth and love.
2. Statement of Purpose
Leader may say:
“We are here to seek understanding, reconciliation, and healing, so that unity may be restored in our ministry.”
3. Acknowledgment of the Issue
The individual seeking restoration should:
Clearly acknowledge what happened
Take responsibility without excuses
Avoid: blame-shifting or justification.
4. Listening to the Team
Team members are given time to:
Share how they were affected
Speak respectfully and honestly
Ground rule: Speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).
5. Apology and Repentance
A sincere apology should:
Name the offense
Express remorse
Ask for forgiveness
Example:
